Who are you in your family history? We can help with ancestor discovery and genealogy research!
We will do all we can to assist in your ancestor discovery and uncover the mysteries of your family history through our comprehensive genealogy research.
It all starts with a quick chat over email about your ancestor discovery, paving the way for exciting family history and genealogy research.
I began my journey into genealogy research back in the 1990s. I traveled to libraries across Europe, ordered microfiche from the LDS (The Latter Day Saints have compiled a wealth of information available for order from family centers online), and interviewed every living family member I could find. In 1996, online records were virtually non-existent. My goal was to uncover my family history and learn where my ancestors came from, especially since all my grandparents had passed away and there was no one left to ask.
So... how do YOU uncover the answers to YOUR family history, now that many of your relatives are gone? With the skills I've gained through my own ancestor discovery, I can guide you in finding your family's story and even help you connect with new relatives you didn't know existed, possibly even in your own town! Those family photos you've been meaning to sort through? Now's the perfect time to flip them over and search for faint names on the back, or sift through old letters and address books. All the secrets of your past are hidden there; you just need assistance to uncover them and learn more about where YOU come from.
Just as I did for myself, I can help you find answers and dispel family myths. My mother once told me stories about my father's family, claiming they were all farmers in Poland. This turned out to be untrue. I discovered they were lawyers, doctors, and even wine merchants in Prussia, and I was able to trace my family in Berlin back to 1615. With time and thoughtful genealogy research, you'll be amazed at what can be uncovered, even after just four hours of basic research on your family.
As my family tree expanded to over 10,000 individuals, I began traveling the world, meeting distant cousins, and adding more oral histories and photos to enrich the tree. Now, I have relatives and friends across the globe. After experiencing so much success, I started conducting research for friends who were eager to learn about their roots. Many of them had children or elderly parents and wanted to share their family history. This could be YOU! You may have distant cousins in England, Australia, America, Europe, Africa—who knows! But... you won't find out unless we start digging.
Recently, a man in Wyoming was reunited with siblings he never knew existed from his father's first marriage, while a man from London discovered his great aunt's shop in Brooklyn. A woman from Iowa learned she was related to British royalty, and a lady in California found out that her husband's family arrived in America in the 17th Century. One man from the UK realized he wasn't connected to British royalty, despite his mother's claims! His original family tree contained an error, and while his mother was disappointed, he was relieved to learn the truth (and shared it with her). There are always stories waiting to be discovered, and I can support you in finding YOUR family story, no matter where you are in the world.
Perhaps you're descended from royalty? Or maybe you're related to a German Baron? Did your ancestors live in a castle or work the land? Perhaps you might even be eligible for a passport through a grandparent born abroad... Could you be a daughter of the American Revolution? Or maybe you were always told your family were farmers in Ireland, but in reality, they were Scottish royalty! Imagine all the places you're connected to and all the places you'll eventually visit, thinking... this is actually where I'm from! Your life could change forever as you connect with cities, towns, and villages across the globe. The journey starts here with www.mygenesearch.com.
